Happy Birthday RICHID.

As i know many of you have been using the RC or have recieved academic lisences i thought a quick discussion should be in order xD at least in terms of how you are finding it with games.

I have considered many times leaving vista behind for XP or Linux but have never brought myself to do so, 7 seems a good time to do just that.

Home Priemium seems to have many of the features you would expect however other options add the XP virtulisation. Have any of you experianced use with it and is it required to run those older programs eg Starcraft as i dont want to shell out another £60 odd pounds for that feature should i not need it.

Also have they sorted out the networking in 7? vista seems slow when it comes to dealing with the network and files in addition the network management seems way too over simplified meaning sooo many sub menus to do something simple (very fustrating when trying to make a quick change).

I have read many of the reviews out there but would still like some input from people i know and who would use the machine for and in a similar way to myself.
