Franky's flawless 100% record continues as the defending KSL champion storms into the lead at the top of the table.

Results

  • Franky 2 - DragonTank 0
  • Max 2 - Deonilin 1
  • Knit 2 - Typh 0

League Table Snapshot

  • Franky (4 wins)
  • Emerald (4)
  • Knit (4)
  • DHK (2)
  • Max (2)
  • Deonilin (1)
  • Typh (1)
  • Gaz (1)
  • DragonTank (0)

Franky now leads the way in the league for the first time this season after another fine display against DragonTank, who is still rooted to the bottom of the table without a win. Deonilin squandered yet another 1-0 lead to let Max pass him by in both the match itself and the overall league standings. Two wins out of the last two matches for our highest placed newcomer now moves him up to fifth. Knit bounced back strongly from the previous week's defeat to overpower Typh, who now spends the week off to contemplate his next fixture against Max. Gaz v DHK is still as yet unplayed.

The map to be used in each first game of Round Six is DESERT OASIS

Franky v DHK

Franky is showing no signs of halting, his unrelenting surge back to the table's summit.

Sorry for my absence everyone. I was in for the weekdays, but got a late call about how this might be the last weekend I see a friend in a while as he may be moving abroad, and he wanted to make a weekend of it. Also, Franky and I are visiting Max in Wales from Thursday to Sunday.

So I'm free Wednesday and, assuming I can use Max's computer, Saturday and maybe Sunday? But I can't play Franky from Wales when we only have one computer! I still have my 'free week' next week so hopefully it all ties up.

Congrats Max, I want to see those games! Anyone thoguht about putting the game on SC2replays? It's very simple and would let everyone access the games very easily. I think it's a simple as click and drag onto the window, and you don't need to sign up or anything.

Time to knock Franky off his scummy Protoss perch!

I'll play Max Wednesday if possible. I think he said he can't play today (Tuesday) so I'll get him out of the way ASAP so there's plenty of time for Franky and DHK to get their game done.

Is it your plan to try and play Gaz this week?

I'll see what I can do about getting the replays up, along with updating KBS.

I can't plan anything alone, I don't know when Gaz is online. All I can do is say when I am.

Actually tonight might be better for me. I have an hour to decide whether to head home or not, which I do today or omorrow. SC2 would be a large factor

Turns out I can only really be on tonight, Wednesday isn't such a good day (Franky, since you lot are picking me up on Thursday in Maisdtone, it's best to not drive into work that day, so getting a lift in from Folkestone with someone from work).

Am free to play in Wales.

Switching race temporarily so I can either cannon rush or muta rush Franky.

I have other replays, but this will do for now, and shows how easy it is to upload.

Bloody hell! Trust Blizzard to release a patch which makes Protoss upgrades FREE and makes EMP useless just before I have to play all but one Protoss in the tournament :|

Knit v Gaz looks likely to take place Thursday evening - no time has yet been confirmed but it will be sociable, i.e. with spectators in mind :)

The DHK v Gaz outcome will have to go on hold for now because everyone will be preparing for the current round of fixtures as a priority. Since it wasn't played within the given timeframe, the match will either be rescheduled or defaulted, pending the arrival of a suitable agreement between its participants.

On this point, I must apologise for forgetting to write up an outline of how we are to treat matches which aren't completed on time. The reason a stone-wall decision is not readily available on this matter is entirely my fault.

Participants get to decide if they default? Not sure that's a good precedent to set really should be an admin decision so that it can be adminitered through the rest of KSL 2.

Would also recommend a time frame for resolving this is set. I would propose this to be the end of the week. If the game hasn't been played by then the least active player defaults or its a draw if neither have been active. However all of the above needs to be stated by the admin and made clear sooner rather than later.

Why should who's active this week have a bearing on what should have happened last week? That's totally unfair on Gaz! We're half way through the week already as well which makes it bad for both players really.

Who gets the deciding vote if they can't agree?

It may not be fair but if you don't bare it on the new deadline it comes back to what happened originally. If that is the case the person active the first time around doesn't need to turn up for any of the games in which case you may as well just default it now.

Apparently Knit suggested playing it in Gaz's week off... which just happened to be the week he's playing Dave ... Convenient.
