If you've visited the site and seen a crappy CPanel page, it means you were connecting to the previous service provider which I have now cancelled. Apologies if that was the case... I'm a last minute man, and it seems to be taking a fair bit longer to get the domains repointed than I originally thought...
This service provider was brill and their service was excellent, but since the site is at a low at the moment I thought it was a waste to keep it on a big bandwidth/space package which we no longer need. That and the server was previously situated somewhere in the USA.

If you see this message, it means you are now connecting to a Virtual Machine running on VMware in Manchester Science Park, inside my workplace's datacentre suite :P
During the late afternoon and the evening, the communication lines coming in there get pretty well used up so latency on the site may increase during those times... However, since all the UK and European guys (which make up the most part of Kapoks) now have many less hops to connect... this may well balance out.

Anyways, you should all thank my work collegues for letting me put it there... completely free :)
I've hooked the site up to our main 100Mbps line, and I will eventually load balance the site across to the other one too at some point, which is hardly touched at the moment. I would've done it immediately but it requires a visit to the datacentre to recable the VMware machine so it goes through the other DMZ switch... not that you should know what I mean I just like to talk ^^

Ahhh, god bless leeching ^^

NB: Those with any email addresses, please contact me, including Knit. I've sorted Gary's but I didn't bother with any others since it was a last minute thing and CPanel went down shortly after I took all the backups hehe. Basically, I will need to setup mailboxes and aliases again before the emails will work again. IMAP and POP3 is working fine and I'll get a webmail site working at some point tonight for those that need it.

Seems a much better option, sure we can manage with a slower site for the sake of saving monies!

lets hope the site update will also stop the random spam too.

Not to be leeching from you too but can i get a kapoks email xD

pld Jasons?

Paladin Jasons?
That doesn't make sense!

If you want email address, tell me what you want and if you want an actual POP3 mailbox or if you want a forwarder (where if you send email to it, it forwards it onto another email address, such as your home personal one)

I notice your email in your signature... you would do wise to change it to something like deonilin at gmail d0t com or something so spam bots don't realise it's an email and start spamming you. Then again, spam would be like family to you innit! :)

What browser are you using? Maybe it is complaining because it is using the Javascript RTF Editor thing and it isn't properly supported in the browser? Have you tried changed your preferences to use the old one?

Yeh I was gonna say blimey it running like a dream... but I'm in the office and our internet connection is the same one... we have LAN extension to datacentre lol. Nice to know it isn't just because I'm in the office though! ^^

Still got some email problems to sort out though but hopefully I can get em sorted... webmaster email is landing in postfix mailbox which is kinda pissing me off lol cause I can't retrieve em from there yet... anyways, nothing anyone needs to worry about !

Signature problem fixed!

Seemed that during the upgrade, the new signature settings didn't get default values inserted for each group.
So each group had blank values for the limits!

Set all the limits now as follows for everyone:

Max number images: 2
Max number URLs: 4
Max number lines: 5
Max image dimensions: 600x130

This should be reasonable enough for everyone

Sweet, reputation system :P
