A few of us have DoW2... but quite frankly it's a poor RTS. Even more reason to play SC.

what servers you guys on now?? does kapoks have a public CSS server now??

shame nobody likes DoW2 ... its a different style of RTS where you dont actually build any buildings , still i kinda like it =D

there are some who like it, but they have left.

I had forgottn, u never seemed to play it much, but no we dont have a pub server but we have our own private for wars. PLaying public isnt really what most of us aims for, we training to get better in leagues. We need more players tho if you were interested.

we need people to make up mix numbers when we are short too xD. If ur around its another person to bring in for a good laugh.

I have added you, to steam, might consider getting hold of DOW2 sometime as looking for another game to play over the summer which has multiplayer. Will have to get a demo and consider if i would actualy enjoy it as i wasnt a big fan of the orginal.

the game appealed to me cos in the story mode as you play through enemies drop items (armor weapons etc) and you actually have to improve your squads that way, along with the "exp" system so that you can specialize your troops in a certain way.

for example the force commander you can either have him full out melee (which is how i done it) or you can specialize him with ranged weapons like bolters or plasma rifles.

then you have the other squads to fully customize. its just really different from other RTS games and i guess thats what appeals to me.

Online mode is a bit different and frankly fookin difficult, ive still not won a game online yet. I rekon if you get into it yul enjoy it ;)

haha now u said that i remebered that i downloaded the demo haah how foolish i was.

Yeah it wasnt too bad a single player campagin. That said its much like DOW, single player was average with parts being enjoyable, but probably wont have the same appeal when it comes to multiplayer.

I am thinking of getting Dawn of War, and i would just ask people on their opinions about it, like the pros and cons, and also, what TYPE of game is it? RPG? or is it like Full Spectrum Warrior or is it like Warcraft 3?

I always thought strategy in real-time was a bit more focal in the RTS genre ;)
