Eclipse is an open poor source community, whose projects are focused on building an open a s*** development platform comprised of extensible frameworks, tools and runtimes for building, deploying and managing software across the lifecycle that don't work. The Eclipse Foundation is a not-for-profit, member supported corporation that hosts the Eclipse projects and helps cultivate both an open source community and an ecosystem of complementary crash prone products and services.

I download eclipse.
I extract files.
I run it.

Take 1
I create a new project.
I select where my source is.
It then blocks me entirely off while it scans the entire folder, even though I didn't f***ing want it to.
Half an hour later when it finishes, I set some settings, then click next and it says, "PHP Build Path."
What the f*** is a PHP Build path? Since when is PHP Built? Isn't PHP an interpreted language? Since when was it a compiled language?!
I click help to see what it is.
OK so it means what files should it monitor... (I fail to see what relation that has to building something.)
I close help... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wizard vanishes! f***ing piece of s***.

Take 2
I create a new project.
Leave it the half hour etc.
Then I finally get a project!
I expand the folder tree to get to the source... nothing... PHP - Eclipse Project (Not Responding)
Hurray... its f***ed...
Leave it half hour... hurray its back.
I expand another folder... nothing... PHP - Eclipse Project (Not Responding)
...

Just goes to show, open-source is only good when its command line. They just don't f***ing have a clue when it comes to user interfaces.

Ahhh feeling so much better now :)

Here's the killer one!

Take 3
I finally wait an hour for it to get down to a file.
I double click it to open it.
Notepad opens up!
All that f***ing patience to end up with notepad!
It only reads .php! Nothing else!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

You just like breaking things! I've been using Eclipse PDT for ages and I've had no problems, aside from a missing feature in the form of whitespace removal.
