Lads,

dispite wishing i could, i have been unable to get on my PC to play CSS recently =[

can you guys let me know how the server is running with regards to lag etc. its coming to the end of the month and i dont really wanna pay cybernetics for the server if we are having troubles still.

any and all feedback is welcome. ( and given to cybernetics within reason.)

The ET Regiment is expanding, we have taken on a second ET Team. We are hoping to make a bigger impression into the ET scene with this second line-up. This Team will be apart of our clan they will be run by their Current Team Leaders Domi and Terror. I will be at hand if they need anything of course! As well as working as two separate teams they will be times when we come together for training’s and also if one team needs an extra player etc. Please see the link below for the new Team. So heres how it started - my mate came round with a disc he got from a pc mag, i barely used a computer back then a was a complete noob, so i installed ET and started playing on random public servers getting owned all the time, then i downloaded a skinpack from a clan called [WS] who were widley known as the biggest clan on ET, only because they recruited every single noob possible, so i couldnt get rid of the skin pack cos i didnt know what i was doing so i decided to try and join the clan, and ofcourse they accepted me, they were freindly guys who i still talk to today, after 1/2 - 1 year i had become bored with the clan as i felt i was underestimated, and decided to join their close rivals called [NSN] who then reformed to -=[8th]=- and thats when the 2.60 patch was released, i strated playing on lag free servers and the occasional scrim, thats where i learnt the basics about scrims and small config tweaks, i also learnt all my knowledge of server administration here as for a short time i hosted a 12 man server from my pc, a guy called Nocturne taught me alot of what i know. After getting pwned alot in CB matches and my gfx card screwing up i started playing 2.55 again with my 2.60 clan thinking i was just inactive because of my pc.
so i wanted to create a clan of my own, i tried to make a couple of small clans with my home hosted server but nothing exciting happend, until i started a clan called ||LG|| with a guy called Sureshot who use to play for .:ICBM:. he then talked to a freind of his called Teletubie and we started the clan. i could then afford to rent a server with the help of sureshot, and we recruited alot of pub kings and the server was extremely popular despite the noticeable lag. We played a few scrims and became quite good, me sureshot and tele then came across a guy called Good, he became a liability for tele and sureshot because of his bad english and whine but i liked the guy, he had a passion to play ET. Then i had a huge argument with sureshot as i had been paying for the server by myself (then i was like 16 - no job whereas he was a fully grown man with a job) and started a new clan called Team-i [TI| this was pretty much a scrimteam that consisted of the best ||LG|| members, we played alot on the UPL server finding scrims, winnig a few losing a few, scrimmed kapoks like once and got pwned hard, form then on whenever kip and key would ask for a scrim i would make an excuse not to play. [TI| slowly died and i bought a new gfx card as i wanted to test myself a bit. So i applied for kapoks (the clan i never thought i could join, and i admired watching) and after impressing in a trial match elfje and kip said no, and then kip said just joking and started laughing (w*****) so then i was in kapoks, great i had made it into the clan. i struggled to keep up with the likes of Elfje and subby on the shooting, and i had started creating new configs to try and help my aiming, i downloaded a config of an old american config site that is now down, and added a few scripts of my own. i was then shooting well, and getting recognised by the people who used to pwn me hard on 2.55 such as ^MK members - when we scrimmed them on 2.60 it was soo sweet because i played very well and i think i made a 3 man kill that i was so proud of ! We then started to find more scrims where i could gain experience and have a huge laugh on comms doing it. it was very rare that there would be an argument about losing a scrim, the attitude was, o well we lost that one lets get another one !!! i kinda miss that, but if we were gonna compete at a higher level then low skiled some things would have to be sacrificed, such as messing about. it went from finding low-/low scrims to low/low+ and eventually holding our own against true med skilled teams. Perhaps it was the fun i was missing and i said to kip that after the OC i thought i would try and find a new challenge in ET by finding a slightly higher skilled team to see what level i could acheive, now i can hold my own in a 3v3 against Med+ teams and sometimes when i merc for warlords (seniels clan) i have the opportunity to play aginst people who i look up to such as the well known UK riflers Hentai and Andeh, which bring me almost to a full circle, maybe one day i can compete at their level. But as is stands the way we performed in our loss to pZ in the OC especially on bremen makes me feel that if our whole team was more active we COULD acheive that skill we all want to acheive !!

Well i remember when i started to play ET like 3 years ago (long yeah^^) well enyway i was playing at 2.55(there was no 2.60 then i guess) and I was playing mostly at -FM- servers(they had like 7 servers) after a while i created my own clan called (ck) it wasnt very pro clan but members were realy royal.. like year after that on 2.55 i saw my member still with (ck) tags, it was so touching that i took him to my new clan and made one of admins, but befour that most of my (ck) clan joind -FM- (kinda fusion), i was playing there about half year, it war realy funny and profesional clan but the problem was the server hosted in USA so i had some lags , but one day something wirld happend.. leader decided to kick 50% of members and as he didnt saw me plaing much cuz he was from USA and it was hard for me to meet him he decided to kick me also..., dude from -FM- name masakiz made clan for former -FM- members called ^GoS my friend Mr.Steve was leader of it and he made me sub... but masakiz didnt like me and he seted me back to normal member, we had some fight about that with him and i decided to leave.. i was cless for some time till TTBOY(-FM- Leader) and my friend told me about Mafia. clan that was kinda 2nd clan owned by -FM-, i joind to it,the clan was realy great but all h8ted the leader "BOSS" and cuz of that and his inactivity TT made me leader of it and boydent my co-leader.. but after few weeks boydent quited ET, i had 1 more member that i trust.. that was "Syko"(yeah same that was in Kapoks) we moved to 2.60 version with -FM- clan and started playing much there, we were going nice, scriming sometimes and stuff like that. We had an profesional site,server,ts and all like that.. But then happend something unexpected.. my comp BURND o.0(it was 1st day of vacation), and i had to leave whole clan to my co-leaders(one of them was Syko) at that time i go on holiday to Spain and used just MSN there from my uncle laptop.I talkd with Syko much about whats going on with clan, and that he cant take it much more realy.. when i came back to my country the FM leader told me they disbaned Mafia. cuz of my inactivity.. i was realy sad about that, we were still playing a while but without server and site it was hard to lead clan... i didnt play ET like few weeks and once when i came MSN Syko pmd me about clan in 2.55 he is now called "Kapoks" , i thought i will just there just for fun to pwn some noobs.. i drinkd few beers and go there:P Elfie was playing there and i pwned him hard then.. i askd him if i can join and he agreed but told me to write on forums.. i was busy a bit then so Syko did that for me.. after that i was joind to Kapoks.. I was playing on public server mostly and helpd "SLAYER" with server tech(as i had one for Mafia) and he made me like junior tech admin... then I started to play at UPL server... at first i was getting pwned hard there but after few weeks i get form and started to kill almost all there... at that time there was hard to get meany kapoks members at some server and scrim cuz it wasnt kinda scriming clan then.. We made then meany ST(Scrim Teams) and the best i remember was Team.Oops.Oops and some otcher i dont realy remember name.. but enyway we stared to scrim with TS and did realy good(didnt lose eny of like 40 scrims) , ppl were calling me best from there team, and i fell kinda special , as im in ST topic, there was one issue that almost made me quit ET, As i remember the thing was about zulu(or Cache) and Miha(im not sure ) , that most from our ST leaved to otcher ST and we were talking like 2h together about loyality and s*** and decided to stay at old ST even if it will have just like 3 members.. and when i was happy that we 3 are rly loyal and friendly the next day they leaved also.. and i was very pissed on that and wanted to quit ET as it gave me more problems then fun... but thnx to Kapoks members i didnt quit <3 ,I remember 1st scrim vs MK clan, when we playd at oasis at etpro, they had some wirld tags and i had like 54/2 stats , enyway we were playing some scrims then but not rly much.. after a while Kip and Lars decided to go 2.60 ( i wasnt happy of that cuz there my Mafia. clan fell down) but i didnt had choice xD, i was still playing much on 2.55 that pissed some Kapoks members also.. i get in a big fight with elfie then..but thats not nice story so im not gona talk about that . After a while i full quited 2.55 and started to play 2.60b only... mostly on public servers cuz we didnt make much scrims there also..Then kip decided we need to make ourself more serious and start to scrim/train much more.. so we did , we tryd to get like 5 members online at some specific day and train or scrim.., but mostly "we" playd 3 vs 3.. "we" is cuz it was only Kip,Lars,Elf and i was kinda 2nd team never used , so i playd much more public there and started to own on all servers.. then when Kapoks quited 3 vs 3 at CB we started to play more like clan with all members.. we started to train much more and scrim much we get realy good tactics at some maps and we started to win scrims , the problem was that meany members were usally qutting and we had to get new one fast and had to work team work all over again.. but after a while we made stable team and playd more : ] , well its kinda end of story as meany things didnt changed rly(well meaby only that we get sponsor in ET) but we still train/scrim when we have enought members on and try to do our best with practise team work and our skill... Meanwhile Elfie leaved Kapoks and go to some otcher clan.. but we enyway were doing good without him.. playd some time like that but now also Lars is quitting.. so i became 2nd most long term Kapoks member(after Kip) and from old school ET also key(frezzer) is still sometimes around , but we get much more and nice members like lethal,zulu,kiste,volx and we are playing like that now trying to do our best as clan based on friendship and loyal

In story i didnt write an time while i was making own clans(but they were nooby and didnt survive more then week, cuz of nooby co-leader(but he had server xD)), well enyway that story is a bit long(but its not rly full.. just kinda most interesting episodes xD) if some1 read whole of that i would be like WoW xD

Those are just a few words to describe the person in question, If I was to continue with those words we would be here for a life time! I want to take this time to say farewell to someone who has made a big impact into this clan and more so to the ET Regiment. That person is Lars, yes I'm not joking its Lars! I'm going to start with a little history so please bare with me....

Two years ago I joined this clan and helped to create the new ET Regiment. Along with me came, Wolverine,Evolution,Raven(Viking) and someone(that was his name lol) We recruited Lars and many other players in a bit of a frenzy lol. In those days you had to beat me in a 1on1 and you were in. After us playing together for a short while we decided to get our own Teamspeak, we had a server with ts so we thought we could might as well use it. For the first few weeks I had no bloody idea what Lars was saying. His English was not bad but he had a heavy dutch accent. So when he used to talk to me on TS I would always have the same reply ( yes) I had no clue what he was saying so I just kept saying yes to every question!
Eventually I got used to him and we could actually have a conversation on TS and I could actually say no to a question!
We used to have very late nights on ET messing around making each other fly about it was great fun! No tension or stress form matches or competitions.
We were just a group if friends having a bloody good time on TS and our server. There was not a night that went by without us laughing and having a great time.

One day Elfje,Lars and Myself were on TS, it was a school night and we had been playing up to 1 am GMT. I think were had either finished a match or were going to start one. When all Elfje and myself heard was allot of shouting in Dutch. It was Lars Mum and she was going ape s*** at him for being up so late. I was rolling on the floor laughing! Then Lars came back and said in a dutch accent "Guys did you hear that" Of course we heard it I bet it echoed in Bin Laden's cave it was that loud!

So we carried on having fun but played a lot of matches everyday all day, we eventually became No.1 clan on 2.55 and decided we wanted to taste the real mans game. I do not think that we would of made the switch over from 2.55 to 2.60 if Lars was not there by my side. He always had an opinion on how we could do things better. But like my Boss said to me once, "opinions are like arseholes everybody has one" If I was ever unsure about anything I always had Lars to help me make up our mind. Oh and I must not forget Elfje had a big impact also and we would not be here with out him either:>

Well i'm not going to babble on much more, but I would like to say thanks to Lars for his solid commitment to this clan and me! Whatever you decide to do mate there will always be a home for you here. I could continue all day with this but I think I have said enough, even you if have never really spoken to Lars or had anything to do with him. I hope by the time you read this you will know enough to realize hes a good friend to all and someone that I for sure won't forget.

As you can see in the topic title i'm back, i have my last tests in 2 and a half hour, and then i'm free off school once again.
Only i'm not back for long, this has been around for a while, as i said a while ago that i atleast wanted to reach the 2 year mark of ET Kapoks, which we did on the 30th of April but i totally forgot it the day itself. Next to that was the OC, i told kip and a few others that i would play till we where finished in it.

There is only a maximum of 3 matches left in the OC, after we got knocked out or after we won the tournament, i will leave ET for what it is. By then i played ET for 2 and a half years, and i think it's time to find something else to do. Maybe i will see a few of you on ET:QW or maybe on a different game.

I'll still hang around the forums to see what's going on and what's new, but this is it. I've had such a great time here, we had our moments of weaknesses and our moments of strengths. The first time i was writing something like this i had a lot more problems writing it, due to my "love" for the game and my "love" for kapoks. But i don't feel anything for ET anymore except a random pub once in a while.

Now let's try and win OC and then i will leave it as it is.

I cant get it working vista and pb dnt mix right well, as soon as u enable pb et crashes... i read summet about u need to run it as an adminstartor and still no luck. Any 1 got any ideas?
