Speculation began to arise internally about a Command and Conquer Renegade sequel seeing that the EALA studio is primarily known for RTS titles and Crysis is a next generation FPS engine. After discussing this with an EALA employee who wishes to not be named, it was stated that there is an extremely high chance that Electronic Arts� LA studio will be developing a new FPS Command and Conquer title for the PC. It is not known if the title will be a true sequel to Renegade or a new stand alone IP however EA is very serious about exploring the options of the Crysis engine with current IPs. Stay tuned as we get more information.

Details on the exclusive interview on Command and Conquer 3 will be released shortly. We are attempting to protect the identity of our source.

Ok guys I need to collect vouches for Trist.

As some may know he was banned off The Koss2 server months ago , they think he cheated , as most of the loyal kapoks members are still here i would like you to vouch for him if you know he wouldn't cheat.

Hopefully TK2 may change their mind on the ban of him. ( I hope )

I know he would never cheat so i hope i can change their minds and they know my determination of doing this.

Well as most of you have noticed, the xwis servers are tempramental.. to say the least. Playing games atm is near to impossible, thank god sum servers have wised up to this, for eg one snipe server have shortend there games to 5 mins.

I am posting really to say, what the f*** is wrong with xwis atm? lol, this is one of the worse things that has happend to WoL/Xwis since rene has been up(or at least since i been playing (03)) , excluding bein completely down for set periods.

Next Tuesday, the 15th of August 2006, Kapoks will be celebrating yet another year, our fourth infact, and the celebrations this time are expected to be somewhat more spectacular than previous attempts!

In honour of the late Kapoks clan for C&C Renegade, which was everso popular in its prime, I have acquired a server (whose details I shall reveal in due time) for us all to gather and have some great times, reminisce and once again display the amazing community we have built up over the years.

Renegade has been quite a hot topic for discussion over the last month so what better time to top it all off with a proper reunion?! Tuesday won't be the most convenient of times for a lot of people but the server will be up for the entire month so we can all arrange amongst ourselves when is best.

Please, spread the word! Kapokians of the past are NOT to miss this event!

man good time too, i saw nick online today on rene to my suprise, and it was the firdt time i had played with him on rene for almost 3 years..

as the game went on nick came up with a genious well timed flamer and me and sum1 ese in LT's and it worked supurbly.

Bigtime changes for the clan are imminent. Most of which have been put in place already. The most important of these changes include:

- Closure of Renegade Kapoks
- Major restructuring of the clan hierarchy
- Expansion onto newer games

Unfortunately this does mean we're going to have to say goodbye to our Renegade Kapoks Disciples. It was a pleasure playing with most of you and good luck to you all for the future.

Clan restructuring involves the appointment of 3 'co-leaders' - essentially of the same administration level as myself although I have the overall higher position at the end of the day . Us 4 leaders will form the new Kapoks Administration Regime, each taking a clan regiment to lead:

KniT - Red Alert 2 (XWIS) Kapoks
Jason - most probably Final Fantasy XI Kapoks
Gary - most probably Halo 2 (XBox) Kapoks
Adam - probably either Generals: Zero Hour Kapoks or Half Life 2 Kapoks

For each of us, there will be a 'sub-commander,' so to speak (it will be appropriately named in due time), to assist each Kapoks Regiment Leader/Commander in the running of the clan.

This is perhaps the biggest shakeup that the foundations of this very clan has seen in a very long time. Hopefully, it should be a good one too. As far as web-staff are concerned, we are removing the Kapoks Admissions Officer and we will seek two Forum Members (clansmen or not) to moderate our forums.
Speaking of which, I intend to reorganise some of our forums and, having said that, the whole site may need a revamp too! But only one step at a time eh?!
Priority for now is to get down to business: fulfilling the fundamental purpose for a clan's existence.

Recruiting... i tested a new guy

well this random guy came up 2 me n asked for a trial 2nite for the clan, he seemed really enthusiastic bout it so i begged my gf 2 let me hav some time 2 test him, n she let me.

firstly we just played 1v1 on volcano where he started well but made the mistake of gettin a mammoth wen i had flamer so i hid around ref til he came then ohned the mammoth, but he still did well n learnt from that mistake.

next i tested:
1v1 soldier - he did well long ranged, but not so good close up
flamer Vs grenadier - his first time with grenadier and i managed 2 beat him cuz he missed mostly cuz he wasnt used 2 how grenades fly. then he tried to take me out wid soldier but was lured into close range and i just beat him.
1v1 shotgun troopers - he lost the first round cuz i got a lucky shot n 1 hit killed him, then he came up behind me wid a shotgun agen n killed me, which was gd work
1v1 random infantry - i went for SBH (mean i no ) he chose mobius (volt rifle) so i went around chasing him wid pistol almost killing him widout him seein me, he refilled, got a glance of me and tried 2 chase, i escaped then c4ed his back and won. he didnt stop moving for long tho and it took me ages 2 find an opportunity to c4 him was well played.
1v1 random vec - needs work on aiming here, just needs 2 get used 2 it. i beat his med with a light tank without even losing my armour

however he is better than chris was wen i first played him i rekon hes got gd potential... plays well for some1 whos only had the game for a week.

i think his name was pimp2004 or sumthin... or mayb pomp2004

as for the last bit, I would like to say to jason, that he must keep up his Wiser Regulater and make it something special, where everyone can be proud off. But If U still want me, I can continue testing this version. but when you get a new version, you have to send it to me on MSN then. It looks great and I really really think, WR will overwrite BR and will become the new STANDERT regulator program.

I would like to thank you all for the time and fun I had with you all. I will alway's remember you as my FIRST real clan i have been in. I really know now that ivan/pac will be very sad, but sorry m8's, this ain't just rite for me, believe me, i tried many many time's. I think I will come to the forums once in a while, but it will not be as mutch as I used to.
